Human IRAK4
Human IRAK4 Xpress Clones encode interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 4 (IRAK4), a 52 kDa serine/threonine kinase essential for TLR/IL-1R-mediated immune signaling. Like other IRAKs, IRAK4 contains an N-terminal death domain (DD) and a central kinase domain (KD), but lacks the extended C-terminal region seen in IRAK1. The KK213AA mutation in the ATP-binding site renders IRAK4 kinase-inactive, and unlike IRAK1, this mutant inhibits IL-1-induced NF-κB activation, highlighting the essential role of IRAK4's kinase activity in inflammatory signaling. These clones are valuable tools for dissecting innate immune pathways, kinase function, and signal transduction mechanisms in human cells. - 20 ug each
